A bit of my story…

I grew up in Arkansas, the eldest daughter of two horticulturists, where I was introduced to beauty and the arts at a young age.  My mother taught me to sew and had the intuition to put me in dance classes.  At the time she had no idea that those two 'hobbies' would become my life.  I graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and a minor in Fashion Design.

New York City became my next home where I taught at a private dance school, performed with modern dance companies, and worked as a freelance costume designer.  I heard the cry of so many people thirsting for love and knew I was called to respond through a greater gift of myself to Love itself.  My response led me to South India, where I was a missionary with Heart's Home for 18 months.  There on the dusty streets of India, I discovered more about who God made me to be…a witness to His Love and Mercy.

Philadelphia has been my ground to cultivate for the past 7 years, continuing to educate, perform, and create. I recently completed my Master of Arts degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling at Drexel University. Through my work as a dance therapist I desire to facilitate healing and growth through the language of movement.
